Questions to ask network marketing company's representative

Joining the company (start up cost)

1. What is the start up cost?
2. Is the start up cost a one time fee?
   • If so, how much is the renewal fee next year?
   • If not, how often will I have to pay the company to remain in business?
3. Will I get anything with the start up cost? Such as the startup kit or starting inventory.
4. Will I have to pay for shipping and handling for that startup kit?
   • If so, what is the final price?
5. When will I get the startup package?
6. Can you show me (give or email later) the compensation plan?
7. Are there ongoing expenses?
8. How much does it cost to have a personal website with the company?

Inventory

1. Does the company encourage consultants to start with initial inventory?
2. Will I need to purchase ongoing inventory?
3. Even if the company does not require for me to keep inventory, are there lots of incentives for me to buy lots of inventory? (such as large discount within the first few months)
4. Even if the company does not require for me to keep inventory, do most of the consultants do anyway?
